REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN

• Trials will be conducted to select teams to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (Vipers) at the upcoming Indoor Hockey State Titles
• Trials to be a combination of training drills and games
• Nominations will be open to any player registered in South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA) who is a FULL TIME PLAYER in our fixtures.
• Nomination cost for trialling will be $40 per player - payable to cover venue hire for trials and some training. 
• Travel and accommodation will be the responsibility of the individual.
• Please note that there are COVID procedures provided by HQ which must be followed.
• Number of teams to be selected will depend upon nomination levels and acceptance by Hockey Queensland
• We are planning for one to two teams to each of the State Titles
• All players must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
• A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD

Following are the prerequisites players to be considered for selection:

1. Must be registered as a player with SBIHA.
2. Must be a full time player in 2020 fixtures run by SBIHA.
3. Must have nominated for rep selection with SBIHA.  This is done online when registering as an SBIHA registered player.
   
4. Must have paid the applicable SBIHA registration fee and representative nomination fee.
5. Must be available to commit to play for SBIHA at the tournament.
6. Must be a registered indoor hockey player with Hockey QLD and have paid this registration.
7. Priority will be given first to players in the correct age bracket.

• U13 Players must be born in 2007 - 2009 to be eligible

Trial times:

U13 Girls, Saturday 17th October 12:30pm - 1.45pm.

U13 Boys, Saturday 17th October 1:30pm - 2.45pm.

Competition Dates:

U13 Girls and Boys State Championships weekend:

            Under 13 Boys at Mackay 20th - 22nd November 2020

The tournaments generally start on the Friday afternoon and conclude on the Sunday afternoon.

Further steps in the selection process may be required after this initial stage. 

• U15 Players must be born in 2005, 2006 to be eligible

Trial times:

U15 Boys, Saturday 17th October 1:30pm - 2:45pm.

U15 Girls, Saturday 17th October 2:30pm - 4:00pm.

Competition Dates:

U15 Girls and Boys State Championships weekend:

            Under 13 Boys at Maryborough 6th - 8th November 2020

The tournaments generally start on the Friday afternoon and conclude on the Sunday afternoon.

Vipers will be conducting selection trials on Saturday 17th October from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for both U15 boys and girls teams.  Further steps in the selection process may be required after this initial stage. 

• U18 Players must be born in 2002 - 2004 to be eligible

Trial times:

U18 Men, TBD

U18 Women, Thursday 15 October 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Competition Dates:

U18 Men and Women's State Championships weekend:

            Under 18 Men at BIHA (Kedron) 11th - 13th December 2020
