Representative Information 2020

REGISTRATIONS FOR U21, U18, U15 and U13 boys and girls are open along with fixture registrations this week.

Trials will be conducted to select teams to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (Vipers) at the upcoming Indoor Hockey State Titles.

. Trials to be a combination of training drills and games
. Nominations will be open to any player registered in South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA) who is a FULL TIME PLAYER in our fixtures.
. Cost will be $30 per player - payable as part of an individuals registration to cover venue hire for trials and some training
. Transport and accommodation of players elected for representative teams will be the players / parents own responsibility
. Number of teams to be selected will depend upon nomination levels and acceptance by Hockey Queensland
. We are planning for one or two teams per tournament
. All players must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD
. A compulsory Player Levy is also payable to Hockey QLD

Coaches, Managers and Umpires

Please let Vipers Committee know if you are interested in coaching, managing or umpiring a representative team at a State Indoor Championships.

Representative Eligibility Criteria

Following are the prerequisites players to be considered for selection:
  1. Must be registered as a player with SBIHA.
  2. Must be a full time player in 2019 fixtures run by SBIHA.
  3. Must have nominated for rep selection with SBIHA.  This is done online when registering as an SBIHA registered player.
  4. Must have paid the applicable SBIHA registration fee and representative nomination fee.
  5. Must be available to commit to play for SBIHA at the tournament.
  6. Must be a registered indoor hockey player with Hockey QLD and have paid this registration.
  7. Priority will be given first to players in the correct age bracket.
