Viper's Summer Indoor Hockey Competition

6-week Social Summer Indoor competition on Saturdays afternoon/nights from 20th January – 24th February 2017. 

 

JUNIORS

  • ·         Under 17 years  If you want an Under 12 to play, must seek permission from Viper Committee.
  • ·         Mixed or Girls only. No ALL BOY’S teams
  • ·         Each team must have a minimum of 7 players and the cost is $60 per player per team they play in.
  • ·         Each team will need to supply 1 umpire and 1 tech person each week. The umpires will get paid $10 per game.
  • ·         Games Times: 3.00pm; 3.45pm; 4.30pm and 5.15pm

SENIORS

  • ·         Mixed or Women’s only. NO ALL MEN’S teams. Players MUST be over 14. 
  • ·         Each team must have a minimum of 7 players and the cost is $70 per player per team they play in.
  • ·         Each team will need to supply 1 umpire and 1 tech person each week. The umpires will get paid $10 per game.
  • ·         Game Times: 6.00pm; 6.45pm; 7.30pm and 8.15pm

 

As there is limited space in these competitions, it will be first in, best dressed. To nominate a team, please email secretary@indoorhockeysbv.com.au before Friday 5th January with the following details:

Competitions 2017

Fixtures will commence week of 5 October 2017

SENIOR:

Thursday Night - Womens 
Friday Night - Social Mixed.  This is a social competition with beginner players very welcome.
A Men's competition is yet to be established. The league welcomes any interest in this area.

JUNIOR:   Team divisions will be decided according to registrations and interest.  
Saturday afternoon 2-5pm
  • U9 Half court
  • U11 Half court
  • U13 players who are new to hockey

Sunday (All day)   Full court

Possible divisions could include:
  • Mixed Full Court U17s -   This would include experienced U13 players.  U17 beginner players are encouraged to join this competition. 
  • Boys Full Court U21s

There are representative opportunities for juniors players.  Our league nominates both boy and girl teams for the U13, U15 & U18 State Indoor Team challenges which will be list on our calendar.

Guide to Registration Types

Guide to registration types.
1. Team Manager Only - Register yourself and indicate that you are managing the team.  An invoice for the team game fees will be created.  It will be your responsibility to collect these fees from your players.
2. Team Manager and player - Register yourself and indicate that you are managing and playing in the team.  An invoice for the team game fees and your registration fees will be created.  It will be your responsibility to collect the game fees from your players.
3. Team Manager with family members as players - Register yourself as primary contact indicating that you are managing a team.  Add your family members under this registration indicating the name of the team they are playing in.  An invoice will be created.  It will include the team game fees and the individual registration fees for your family.  
4. Junior Player only - A parent will need to register as the primary contact.  Add the players name on this registration making sure you indicate which team they will be playing in.  An invoice for the registration fees will be created.  Remember to pay your share of the game fees to your team manager.
5. Senior Player only  - Register yourself and indicate which team you are playing in.  An invoice for your registration fees will be created. Remember to pay your share of the game fees to your team manager.
